Shane Watson's fifty went futile as Kolkata Knight Riders vanquished MS Dhoni-drove Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in Abu Dhabi. KKR bowlers assaulted well in the demise overs, getting the significant wickets of MS Dhoni (11) and Sam Curran (17). Ravindra Jadeja (21*) and Kedar Jadhav (7*) stayed unbeaten yet couldn't accept the game home as CSK finished scoring 157/5. Pat Cummins was the main KKR bowler to stay wicketless as other took one wicket each. 

Prior, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 167 all-out in their portion of 20 overs against MS Dhoni-drove Chennai Super Kings. Dwayne Bravo remained CSK's most noteworthy wicket-taker as he got back with the mysterious figures of 3/3. Karn Sharma (2/25), Shardul Thakur (2/28) and Sam Curran (2/26) bowled splendidly to package KKR and asserted 2 wickets each. Rahul Tripathi (81) scored the lady fifty for KKR and remained the top-scrorer.KKR had selected to bat first in the wake of winning the throw against CSK.

 

Chennai Super Kings chief, MS Dhoni: I think in the center overs, there was an a stage where we bowled 2-3 great overs. At first we parted with not many in the initial six. Curran bowled well. 160-170 was something we might have shielded however I think our hitters let us down.In situations, similar to the one towards the end, we didn't adjust well. There were less limits towards the end and those are the zones we'd prefer to work upon.

KKR bowlers created a joined exertion as Mavi, Varun, Nagarkoti, Narine and Russell got a wicket each.
